My Work

I am excited to announce that I work for 3T Fossegrenda now. This means that my work in Trondheim will be coordinated with the 3T office. Please note that this applies for group classes as well as private classes or even requests you may have for me doing voluntary work.
Find me on their schedule here.

In the West today Yoga is best known for the fitness benefits of Yoga Asana – and they are definitely worth mentioning!

Regular practice of Yoga Asana tones, strengthens and stretches the body, imroving proprioception, teaching the body to function as a unified whole rather than a set of parts – and unlike many other programmes, it does all of these things at once.

Pranayama or breathing exercises are another fascinating yogic tool.
The effects are subtle or imediate, depending on the practicioner, and the practiced technique. For an inspiration as regarding to what this can do be sure to check on Wim Hof aka “The Iceman”, or click “Learn more” to view some of my own experiments 😉

When you own your breath, no one can steal your peace.

Meditation is another aspect of Yoga that is well-known and there is an abundance of guided meditations online.

My focus when teaching meditation is to encourage my students to become gradually less dependent on these guides and I hold space for them to experience, that we don’t need much to be present. We need air and space.

There is little like feeling a mild breeze encouraging you to take your next inhale and birdsong that is not from tape. Meet me in private or in a group and let’s take to the woods. Opening our perception to what Nature offers in abundance instead of focusing on a lack of technical props will lead to unique ways of utilizing what we find and definitely to a great experience!

Experience Yoga in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Take the time in familiar surroundings to focus on yourself and go deeper into your practice – either one-on-one or in a private group.

Everything depends on your preferences – we can do an energetic Ashtanga Vinyasa flow, we can do deep relaxation, work on some ailments, practice Pranayama…

Use Yoga in your workspace to start off energized, clear and fresh in the morning, to focus your mind before you start working, or to reset in the lunch break instead of succumbing to midday fatigue. On a more medium to long term note, counteracting the effects of hours of sitting may save you from serious spinal injury. Do not underestimate the great effect this has on you as a team as well! Your commitment to your health is going to stick the better, once you are all working together!

Don’t let work interfere with your health and wellbeing – create healthy habits at work and keep each other to them!

I will accompany you on your retreat offering my services to ensure a well-rounded trip.

Make your visitors feel welcome and appreciated – I will adjust my classes to your needs.

If you aren’t hosting, but want to attend, you can also join one of the below.

While the best in terms of personal exchange is obviously a class where everyone is physically present, in some cases being able to practice from home with no time lost on commute is just what one needs. I am happy to announce that in August 2018 I launched a weekly online course. It takes place on mondays between eight and nine pm and is taught in German.

New dates are announced and booked every two months, but Newcomers are welcome to join at any time.

You have an idea I didn’t think of?

Please contact me for any queries about other possibilities that found no mention here: I love accomodating unexpected requests, so don’t hesitate to ask!
Flexibility and adaptability are qualities that I aim to cultivate beyond their mere physical manifestation.

Yoga is diverse and I want to keep my course offers to the same standard. All of these offers go both for group sessions and for private classes. Here’s an overview over what I currently do.

Experience Yoga in Nature.

There is little like feeling a mild breeze encouraging you to take your next inhale and birdsong that is not from a tape.

Of course this can only be enjoyed half the year – as long as Pranayama is not mastered, that is – but that does not mean, it should be missed!
